Men are quite unlike women - and thank God for that! When it comes to fashion, women like to pick up a wide variety of odds and ends. Their wardrobes, cupboards and dressing tables are near to overflowing with knickknacks and items picked up at random. For most men, this kind of profligate shopping is beyond rational thought. They might indulge their women, but left to their own devices, they are quite happy to own a small number of items - of good value.
When I first met my husband (then boyfriend), I was shocked that he could spend a thousand bucks on something just for the brand name!
